Your host, Chris spent many years as the chef/proprietor of one of Somerset's first Gastro Pubs and his passion for food is reflected in the breakfast menu. Only the finest locally sourced ingredients are used including bacon and sausages from local artisan farmers and eggs from our very own chickens. Wherever possible, vegetables are from our own allotment, trout are caught by Chris and all preserves and jams are made in our home from locally sourced ingredients. If a traditional country breakfast is not to your liking why not try Smoked Salmon with scrambled eggs or Eggs Benedict. Locally smoked Kippers are always available or for the more adventurous you could try our luxury Kedgeree or Devilled Kidneys. If you are vegetarian, don't panic, there is always a choice of fresh or preserved fruits and locally produced breads and pastries. By the way, don't forget to ask about our freshly baked Breakfast Muffins....they are a legend in their own right.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and it is unlikely that you will want anything else to eat until the evening, when by arrangement we will gladly make reservations for you at one of our local eateries.
